Morpheus Books is an imprint of Mystical Mindscapes, a New Age publisher. We publish original works as well as bringing exceptional out-of-print titles back into print. If you’re interested in publishing a book with us, please see our submission guidelines at the bottom of this page.
Some of the books published by Morpheus are in the public domain. These are wonderful, helpful, insightful books that deserve to see the light of day. While anyone can publish them–and they have–we do things a little differently. We carefully edit our books to bring you a quality book in the true spirit that the author intended, free of typos and grammatical errors. We don’t just slap together a scanned copy of a book we’ve found. We have too much respect for the authors and the knowledge they share within their books to do that.
Another thing we do differently is we create derivative works, offering entirely new books which are based on some of the classics in New Thought literature.
Since we’ve acquired many of these books at little or no cost, we keep our prices to you as low as possible. We offer generous excerpts and discussions of each book in the blog as well as giving you links to free e-books. We invite you to read our books, to join in the discussion, and to receive all the benefits these books have to offer you.

Submission Guidelines
We’re always looking for books that offer ways to help you journey on your spiritual path of self-discovery and transformation. Our areas of interest are: Holistic Healing; Past Lives/Reincarnation; Meditation; Dreams; Self-Hypnosis; The Law of Attraction; Prosperity Consciousness; Visionary Fiction; and Self-Help/Personal Growth.
If you’re writing a book on one of these topics, we’d love to receive a book proposal from you. Please send a preliminary proposal to gloriachadwick@gmail.com. Put Book Proposal with the title of your book in the subject line; include all content in the body of the email.
For your initial query, please send an author/book bio telling us who you are and what your book is about. Include a selling handle for your book (25-word description), an overview (which resembles a back cover blurb), an annotated table of contents, and a promotion plan of how you can help to market your book.
If we’re interested, we’ll ask for a full proposal. 
Are we right for one another?
Here’s a little bit more about us so you can see if we’d be the right publisher for you and your book. We publish POD (print-on-demand). Our major online retailer is Amazon. We’re distributed to the bookstore trade by Baker & Taylor and New Leaf. We’re represented to libraries by Quality Books and Unique Books. We are NOT a subsidy publisher–you don’t pay us to get published; we pay you royalties on book sales.
We don’t offer an advance but we do offer a generous royalty of 20% of net sales (the industry standard is 10% net, so we double that). We actively market our books, both online and by sending out press releases, review copies, and arranging online book tours as well as local author appearances. We promote the heck out of our books and we expect you to actively help promote your book. During the process of publishing a book with us, we help you set up a web presence and develop an author platform if you don’t already have one. We also link to you and give you access to this site where you can write posts and promote your book on our pages.
There are no guarantees in publishing; we make no promises other than to publish a book you’ll be proud of and to do our very best to market it. If you want to sell millions of copies and become a world-famous author, that will depend a lot on you, but we can give you a really good start.
